As a third-generation Austinite, my roots in this wonderfully unique city run deep. I've watched it transition from the quiet university town it was 30 years ago to the bustling, dynamic city that it is today. Austin is rich in cultural diversity, economic opportunity and artistic expression. Yet despite its sophistication, a small town sense of community is still very much a part of our neighborhoods and daily lives.

I joined The Kinney Company in 2005. I knew right away that I wanted to be a part of this team. Their depth of knowledge not only of the real estate industry, but of the styles and construction techniques used in various properties is a specialty not often found in agents. And, their dedication to client satisfaction and to delivering outstanding service completed the equation for me.

In 2008, after company founder Teddy Kinney decided to retire, I assumed the role of broker. The Kinney Company has been a great fit for me. It's a small business where we strive to support each other and contribute much to our communities.

With more than 20 years' experience in residential real estate in the Austin area, my personal background includes building and remodeling houses, working in real estate law and public law, and studying interior design. I use this collective knowledge nearly every day in my work.

At home, with my husband, Bill (who practices "wills and estates" law), I have two young daughters who keep me busy and keep my creative energy flowing. Our home is in the Balcones Drive area of Central Austin, a home we thoroughly remodeled.

When I'm not working, you'll find me visiting the homes of the annual fall AIA Tour or spring Heritage Society tour, supporting the local Open Days Garden Tour of the National Garden Conservancy, and trying to be a good neighbor - helping where I can; filling in the gaps at school, in the neighborhood, or at community functions. It's a full life. It's a good life. It's a life in Austin after all.
